You are invited to the Public Reception of "45 Armenian - A Solo
Exhibition by Khairuddin Hori" at 7 pm, 26 Feb 04 at The
Substation Gallery.

"On the morning of Valentine's Day, 14 February 2004, I shall
start working in my new studio in the ground floor gallery of
contemporary art space The Substation, at 45 Armenian Street. I
will work there for the next 12 days from 11 am to 9 pm daily. The
studio will be sealed, except for strategically-placed monitors or
tiny windows where the public can see me at work. Entrance to
45 Armenian is exclusive and by appointment, visitors may
request admission at specific times.

I have invited three artist friends, Karee S. Dahl
(Singapore-based Australian visual artist), Rizman Putra
(member of KYTV or Kill Your Television), and Lin Kai Lie (from
Artists Village) to collaborate and work with me in the studio. We
will make surprise presentations of our collaborative works.

On the evening of the 12th day in the studio, 26 February 2004, I
will stop all work and hold a public reception as the public and
friends are invited for an 'open studio showing'. The open studio
will also run from 27 – 28 February 2004."
