The Danger Museum

 

The Danger museum project was first initiated by artist Woon Tien Wei. The first Danger museum was in the backfield of Goldsmith's College.


The Danger museum Collection 1998, Recent Acquisitions, the Substation, Singapore. The museum collection took place in the Substation, Singapore. There were works by 13 artists and 18 child artists. There were 11 Singapore artists and two foreign artists (America and Japan). It is group collaboration with all the artists 'building' the museum. There were museum tours conducted by the artists. The show's aim was to make viewing art fun and casual. The artworks were shown in various location of the Substation.

During this event, the artists worked together wonderfully. It gave the artists space to explore their ideas and exhibit with other art forms that would not be conventionally put together.
