Chu Yuan is a visual artist and performer, and has recently been focusing on soft sculptural work. She does art as a way of engaging with life's experiences and processes and as a way of enlarging herself. She was a member of Artist's Village and Metabolic Theatre Laboratory. She has also been a full time arts administrator with The Substation.
