Part 1: Conceptual Issues

a) history background about sites (Raffles Landing Site, Merlion Park, etc.)
b) historical background about AIM project
c) background about site specific art, in general, and in Singapore
d) Monuments and Memory in Singapore

Part 2: Interpretations of Individual art works

AIM started in July as a series of public art event that platforms artistic
responds from international overseas and local artists' through presenting
their art-works at various historical and heritage sites in Singapore. The
documentation exhibition is on now until 16 November 2000. 

A panel discussion on 16th November will raise artistic concerns relating to
local heritage and history. The panel will be made up of art critics, cultural
writers and artists who participated in AIM project.
